This Privacy Policy describes how Outlines Art Supplies Ltd ("we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from outlinesartsupplies.com (the "Site").

What we collect and why
Device information - browser type, IP address, time zone, cookie data, and how you interact with the Site. Collected automatically using cookies and similar technologies. Used to load the Site correctly and to understand how visitors use it so we can improve it. Shared with our platform provider, Shopify.
Order information - your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, and payment details (payment card data is handled by our payment processors and is never stored by us). Collected when you place an order. Used to fulfil your order, process payment, arrange delivery, send order confirmations, screen for fraud, and communicate with you. Shared with Shopify, our payment processors, and the courier delivering your order.
Customer support information - anything you send us when you contact us for help. Used solely to provide support.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not currently use third-party behavioural advertising networks. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
Lawful bases (UK GDPR)
We process your information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you (fulfilling orders), because we have legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Site and protecting it from fraud - none of which override your rights and freedoms. Where consent is required (for example, marketing emails), we ask for it separately and you can withdraw it at any time.
Sharing
We share personal information with service providers who help us operate: Shopify Inc., which hosts our store (see how Shopify uses your data at shopify.com/legal/privacy); payment processors; and delivery carriers. We may also disclose information to comply with applicable laws or a lawful request, or to protect our rights.
Retention
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for our own records and to meet legal (including tax) obligations, unless and until you ask us to erase information we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@outlinesartsupplies.com - we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function (such as the shopping basket and checkout) and analytics cookies that help us understand how the Site is used. These are set by Shopify - a full, current list is maintained at shopify.com/legal/cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site (such as checkout) from working. We do not alter our data practices in response to "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no industry standard for them.
Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16, and UK law prohibits the sale of aerosol paint to under-16s. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address above and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
